The Soul Net: The Research of Peggy Kane — The Faraday Cage Theory, Accumulated Trauma, and Why Only the Spirit Passes Through

What if the soul net surrounding this system operates by the same physical principle as a Faraday cage — blocking electromagnetic frequencies from passing through in either direction, trapping the astral body the moment it reaches the barrier, bouncing it back exactly as Robert Monroe’s own out-of-body travels were bounced back when he attempted them from inside an electrified enclosure? In the third episode of the six-part soul net series at TheAlexShow.TV, host Alex presents the research of Peggy Kane — one of the most practically illuminating perspectives on the soul net’s mechanics yet encountered in the series — and uses it as the foundation for one of his clearest and most personally revealing conversations about the soul, the spirit, accumulated trauma, and what it actually takes to get through.

This episode is shorter than some in the series. But what it contains is dense with implication. By the end of it, the reason why so many lifetimes of genuine spiritual effort still end in reincarnation will be clearer — and the specific mechanism that makes departure so difficult will be as concrete and comprehensible as any physical object you have ever encountered.

Three Bodies, Not One: The Framework That Makes Everything Else Comprehensible

Alex opens with the tripartite framework that he returns to throughout this series, because understanding it precisely is the prerequisite for understanding everything that follows. Most people think of themselves as having one body — the physical one. Some spiritual traditions extend this to seven bodies or more. For this series, Alex focuses on three, which he considers the essential minimum for understanding the soul net problem.

First: the physical body. Solid, biological, living in three-dimensional space, operating through the familiar senses. This one is clear.

Second: the energetic body — also known as the astral body, the etheric body, the soul, and the aura. This is not metaphorical. It is a real body, just operating at a different frequency than the physical one. It is electromagnetic in nature. It exists in what various traditions have called the fourth dimension, the astral plane, or the etheric realm. It is the body that leaves the physical during sleep, during certain meditative states, and at the moment of physical death. And because it is electromagnetic, it interacts with electromagnetic structures — including, as Peggy Kane’s research suggests, the soul net.

Third: the spirit. And here Alex is careful to mark a categorical difference that the first two bodies do not share. The spirit is not a body in any ordinary sense. It does not follow the same rules as the physical body or the electromagnetic body. It is not limited by space, time, speed, or electromagnetic barriers. The rules that govern everything within this system — including the speed of light as the maximum velocity, the Faraday cage principle as an electromagnetic barrier, the soul net as a frequency fence — simply do not apply to the spirit. The spirit is infinite speed, infinite distance, infinite time. It cannot be trapped by any mechanism designed to catch electromagnetic entities because it is not electromagnetic. It is the IS-BE itself — the pure consciousness that decided to be before any body, any memory, any system was added. Watch Alex present this framework with full clarity at TheAlexShow.TV.

The Faraday Cage Discovery: Robert Monroe’s Bounced Astral Travel

Peggy Kane was a public access television host in the 1990s, a UFO researcher, and a former New Age practitioner who, through her work and the communications she received, arrived at what Alex considers one of the most accurate and practically useful descriptions of the soul net’s operating principle. She describes it as a mesh of frequencies around the planet — or more precisely, around the system — that keeps souls trapped. Not through brute force, but through the same mechanism as a Faraday cage.

The Faraday cage principle is well-established physics: a cage or enclosure made of conductive material blocks electromagnetic waves from passing through in either direction. External frequencies cannot enter. Internal frequencies cannot exit. It is used in various practical applications — including, as Alex notes, some people use them as protection from EMF pollution. The problem, he points out carefully, is that a Faraday cage works both ways. If you generate electromagnetic waves inside it, they bounce. They cannot get out. The protection from external frequencies comes at the cost of also trapping anything electromagnetic that originates internally.

Peggy Kane’s specific contribution to the soul net discussion is the account of Robert Monroe — the out-of-body research pioneer whose work anchored several earlier episodes of this series — attempting to astral travel while inside a Faraday cage. Monroe was a skilled and experienced out-of-body traveler. But when he attempted projection from inside the electrified cage, his astral body could not get out. It hit the barrier. It bounced back. Not because Monroe lacked skill or preparation, but because the astral body is electromagnetic — and the Faraday cage blocked it by definition.

The soul net, in Kane’s framework, is the Faraday cage of this entire system. An electromagnetic barrier at the solar system scale that prevents electromagnetic bodies — astral bodies, etheric bodies, souls — from passing through in either direction. Souls from the real universe cannot enter the simulation. And souls within the simulation cannot exit it. Every astral travel attempt, every out-of-body experience, every post-death departure — all of them reach the barrier and bounce back, exactly as Monroe’s astral body bounced back from the walls of the Faraday cage.

Why the System Needs the Soul: The Accumulation Strategy

Alex develops one of the most illuminating insights of the entire series in his commentary on the Peggy Kane material — one that explains not just what the soul net does but why the soul itself is so essential to the system’s strategy.

He poses a question that initially seems counterintuitive: if the system genuinely reset consciousness completely at every reincarnation — wiping everything, starting truly fresh — would that actually serve the system’s purposes? And his answer, which takes a moment to land fully, is no. A genuine clean slate would work against the system. A consciousness arriving genuinely fresh, with no accumulated traumas, no inherited karmic contracts, no residual loyalties or obligations from previous lifetimes — that consciousness would have a much easier time, in any given lifetime, doing the inner work needed to leave. It would have far less baggage. It would need to clear far less before it could move through the net.

So the system, in his reading, does not actually reset cleanly. It keeps the soul intact across reincarnations. The conscious memories are wiped — you do not remember your previous lifetimes in any way that would provide navigational guidance. But the soul, with all its accumulated content, is retained. The traumas from previous lifetimes are carried forward in the electromagnetic body, expressing themselves in the new life as inexplicable phobias, persistent emotional patterns, sensitivities and triggers that have no apparent cause in the current biography, but which originate from experiences in bodies that have long since died.

The fear of water in someone who has never nearly drowned in this lifetime — they drowned in a previous one. The panic at heights in someone with no relevant experience — a previous death from falling. The inexplicable sensitivity to a specific kind of touch, a specific kind of sound, a specific location on the body — all of it is the soul carrying forward the trauma record of previous physical existences. Lifetime after lifetime, the record accumulates. More traumas, more contracts, more commitments, more karmic obligations, more loyalties — all of it stacking up in the electromagnetic body that persists across the cycle. The wheel gets heavier with every turn.

Alex’s Personal Testimony: The Beheading and the Back of the Neck

The episode’s most personally revealing moment is when Alex returns to something he has mentioned in earlier episodes — his own past-life trauma — and explains it with more detail than he has offered before. He knows, with a certainty that he acknowledges sounds strange but that he finds impossible to doubt, that he was beheaded more than a thousand years ago. Not just a conceptual past-life awareness but something confirmed through independent sources who knew nothing of each other and yet described the same account when working with him — two practitioners from different cities, no connection between them, providing identical information. The validation came from outside as well as inside, where the resonance was already ringing.

The beheading happened from behind — through the back of the neck. And this has expressed itself throughout his current life as an intense, disproportionate sensitivity in exactly that location. Someone touching the front of his neck — not really a problem. Someone coming up behind him and touching the back of his neck, even in a casual social gesture — a fierce, almost aggressive physical reaction, out of proportion to the stimulus, arising before conscious thought could intervene. The body knows. The soul remembers. The trauma is there, encoded in the electromagnetic body, producing a response that would make no sense to a psychiatrist looking only at this lifetime’s biography.

He uses this example to make a broader point about the limits of conventional psychological approaches to healing: therapists who focus only on this lifetime — even those who work back through childhood memories and repressed experiences — are working on the surface of something that goes much deeper. The accumulated content of the soul spans not one life but many. The most effective clearing, in his view, comes from regression work that goes past this lifetime’s beginning into the experiences of previous bodies — finding the original traumas, naming them, and releasing them where they actually reside.

The Accumulation Is the Trap: How the Weight Keeps Growing

The insight that connects everything in this episode is Alex’s description of how the accumulation dynamic works to the system’s advantage over multiple lifetimes. You arrive in a new life with no conscious memories but with a soul full of unconscious content. You move through the new lifetime, forming new relationships, making new commitments, incurring new obligations, developing new loyalties. Some of what you commit to this lifetime overlaps with commitments from previous cycles, reinforcing them. Some is new, adding to the total weight. The karmic wheel turns. The samsara wheel turns. The soul gets heavier. The bag gets more full. The departure point at the soul net becomes harder to reach with sufficient emptiness to pass through.

This is, Alex believes, not an accident. It is the design. The system benefits from the accumulation precisely because accumulated content in the soul is what the soul net catches. An electromagnetic body loaded with traumas, contracts, loyalties, and karmic obligations is maximally catchable. The heavier the soul, the more securely the net holds it. The emptier the soul, the more easily the spirit within it can be released to pass through the barrier.

The work, therefore, is not just spiritual development in the generic sense. It is specifically the work of clearing — releasing traumas, dissolving contracts, resolving obligations, harmonizing relationships, closing loops — reducing the content of the electromagnetic body until what remains is light enough, clean enough, and ultimately empty enough that at the moment of departure, the spirit can step out of the soul and move through the net as if it were not there. Because for the spirit, it genuinely is not.

The Key That Alex Returns to Across the Entire Series

As he promises to say throughout every episode of the six-part series, Alex states it again here with calm conviction: the only thing that passes through the soul net is the spirit. Not the soul with accumulated content, however spiritually developed. Not the electromagnetic body with refined vibration, however elevated. The spirit itself — the IS-BE, the pure consciousness that decided to be before any body or memory was added — moving free of the soul entirely. Leaving everything behind. Everything. The memories, the traumas, the contracts, the loyalties, the attachments, the identity accumulated across this lifetime and all the others. Everything.

It is, he acknowledges, the biggest ask imaginable. Leaving behind everything you have been, everything you have loved, everything that constituted who you were across your existence in this system. But it is not a loss. It is the completion. The spirit that moves through the net is not diminished by the dissolution of the soul. It is freed by it. What it finds on the other side — in the Pleroma, in the real universe — is not absence. It is the fullness that the system has been counterfeiting for millennia. The original home. The actual source. The real universe.

Discovering Your True Self: Clearing the Soul So the Spirit Can Emerge

As always, Alex closes with the invitation that is the foundation of everything he does. And in the context of this episode, it carries a specific and practical dimension that it may not always have had. Because the discovery of your true self — the real you beneath all the layers — is not separate from the clearing work this episode describes. It is the clearing work. Every time you genuinely release a trauma, dissolve a karmic contract, harmonize a broken relationship, close a loop that has been open across lifetimes — you are lightening the electromagnetic body. You are clearing the soul. You are making it easier for the spirit to be recognized as distinct from all that accumulated content. You are getting closer to knowing what you actually are when none of the accumulated weight is in the way.

You are not what you have been groomed to believe. You are not the accumulated traumas of a thousand years. You are not the contracts and commitments and loyalties that have built up across lifetimes of genuine empathy, genuine love, genuine engagement with this system. Those are real. But they are not you. You are an incredible being without limits — the IS-BE, the spirit that decided to be before any of this began, carrying eternal life, infinite wisdom, genuine strength, and a heart whose capacity for love does not depend on the soul’s accumulated record to be real. Five minutes a day, a genuine question directed inward. Who am I? Where do I come from? What is my purpose? The clearing begins in the asking. And it continues in every honest, courageous act of releasing what no longer needs to be carried. Subscribe to TheAlexShow.TV and be here for episode four of the soul net series next Friday.
